PRE-ORDER BRIDESMAIDS PROCESS
Our Bridesmaid dresses are made-to-order. Erika Georg is an advocate of building a sustainable, timeless wardrobe built on slow fashion and considered purchases.


Standard Made to Order
If the wedding is 12 weeks or more away your order is Standard made-to-order. Your gown will be handmade especially for you in our Melbourne studio to the standard Australian size placed on your order. Please see our measurement chart here.
If you require a custom measurement or alteration please email us at info@erikageorg.com.au however this may be an additional cost. Your order will be dispatched within the 12 week period and our team will email you every step of the process.
If you require your dress in less than 12 weeks, our team will need to organise this as a priority order for your made-to-order dress. Please email us at info@erikageorg.com.au and we can guide you through this process by taking measurements and options for immediate production.

The process:
Each dress is crafted by the Erika Georg team, made and designed in Melbourne, Australia. Once an order is placed, the garment will then be put into production. All a part of our journey to decrease wastage, landfill and overproduction in this industry.
Your order will take maximum 12 weeks to be made. For a priority order (less then 12 weeks, please email us at info@erikageorg.com.au

  1. Place your order online
  2. We order then cut the fabric for your garments in house.
  3. Your garments are sewn and pressed by our production team in house at Erika Georg in Melbourne.
  4. Your garments go through a quality control check before delivery
  5. Your garments are packaged and sent
Timelines may vary depending on busy period or unexpected shipping delays due to third party. We will email you once order has been received and we will keep you updated across every step of the process.

Conditions & Returns
As your garment is being made especially for you, we unfortunately cannot offer returns. Once your order has been confirmed and the process begins no changes or cancellations can be made. We will not start production until payment is made in full. 
 
A delivery date will be set by the Erika Georg team. You will receive an email at each stage of the process including when it is ready for delivery.
 
Custom & Alterations
 
If you love an Erika Georg design however would like to tweak it to suit your needs, we offer a custom silhouette and custom colour service at an additional cost. Please email info@erikageorg.com.aufor any enquiries.
If you do require alterations to a silhouette, this can be made however additional costs do apply. Alterations are as follows:
  • Smaller or larger bust, waist or hip measurement to our standard sizing.
  • Longer hemline
  • Shorter hemline

Measurements & Sizing

How to measure:
  1. Bust- around the fullest part of your bust, across the nipple
  2. Waist- around the smallest part of your waistline
  3. Hip- around the fullest part of your bottom
  4. Shoulder to floor- from shoulder bone to floor in a straight line, not curving to your body.
  5. Waist to floor- from smallest part of your waist to the floor.
