Made-To-Fit Bridesmaid Order Process:
This process is for anyone wanting to have any of the EG bridesmaid dresses made to fit them perfectly. You must be available for fittings. If interstate or overseas please discuss with the EG team. We don't recommend this process if you are 6 months or less out from your wedding date.
Prices vary from our Made-To-Order dress service.
Made-To-Fit process is only based on Erika Georg current designs, not a custom design. A custom design is quoted individually on a case by case basis. Please email info@erikageorg.com.au for more information and a quote.

Are you and your bridal party ready to find the perfect dresses, tailored to the individual? Feel comfortable, confident and beautiful in tailored dresses to suit your silhouette. Book in and bring your bridal party in to our studio for the full bridesmaid experience.
We’ll find the perfect silhouette, take your measurements so you’ll feel nothing short of comfortable in your dress.
Our Erika Georg garments are crafted in our Melbourne studio, handmade with love. Our designs can be mixed and matched within a group to ensure there is a silhouette to flatter your frame and made to suit you.
While you can see our collection online (and can be purchased in standard size) we recommend booking in a complimentary appointment, allowing us to focus on you and find a dress you will feel comfortable in.
This process is for anyone wanting to have any of the EG Bridesmaid dresses made to fit them perfectly.
This Process includes:
Initial Consultation (1 Hour, FREE):
- Try on and view our silhouettes
- See our selection of colours available and touch/ feel our fabrics
- We will take you through the options for lengths (7/8 & full length) & tweaking individual styles (as well as limitations)
- Take each bridesmaids measurements so we have a base dress to make
- This is held at our Prahran (Victoria) studio.
Order confirmation
After the first fitting consultation we will touch base with you to see if you would like to proceed. If you would like to proceed, we will require:
- Colour choice (so we can order fabric)
- Each bridesmaids chosen dress silhouette
- Timelines for fittings and collection dates will be then outlined and a quote provided.
We have two payment options available for the Made-to-Fit process:
1. All dresses can be payed up-front & in full.
2. OR a 50% deposit for commencement of the order and balance paid prior to collection of the order.
2 fittings minimum (0.5-1 hour, FREE):
This will be outlined in your timeline summary email. One fitting will definitely be required per individual. Depending on the dress style chosen, a second may be required and this will be outlined to you.
Remaining Payment & Collection day:
We aim for 3-4 weeks before your wedding date (this depends on the initial commencement of the job, it could be earlier or dependent on what alterations are required and if there are individual timeframes set out). This allows for any final alterations or changes if needed and for peace of mind. If you are interstate, we will send your garments 1 month prior to wedding date. Alterations are then to be made locally if required. Timelines will all be outlined prior to first fitting commencement. If you choose the deposit payment process to commence, the remaining balance is due 5 days prior to collection.

How far in advance do I need to start the process?
We require 6+ months for this process.
Am I able to have alterations?
This service allows you to make small tweaks, alter and make the garment fit you perfectly. This garment is made from scratch according to the measurements taken at your first consultation and along your fitting process.
If one of my bridesmaids lives overseas or interstate, what do I do about organising a dress?
We offer virtual appointments where we can discuss silhouettes and sizing. However we do highly recommend our Made-to-order service where your bridesmaid can select their dress and standard size and it will be made to this and sent directly to them. No alterations, this can be done locally if required.

Do all of your styles come in each of your fabric and colour options?
Yes, all of our styles can be created using any of our colour options in our swatches.

Do we need to do consultations/ appointments?
While we do offer our range available to be purchased in standard sizing and sent directly to you, we recommend booking an appointment and this process if you:
- Can't purchase a dress to suit all of your bridesmaids off the rack and require a dress to be made in proportion to their body.
- Have a bridesmaid who is pregnant, postpartum or other
- longer length required
- would like alterations made by our team to suit you
- a fun day out with your bridesmaids!
Is there a refund or exchange policy with this process?
As these garments are made to suit each individual, there is no refund or exchange.
